Help with upscaling...

Hey! I'm new and just getting started. I've got my first few listings on Etsy and excited to keep going.

The one thing I am unsure of is if I am upscaling my images correctly? I'm creating them on Midjourney and using the upscale button on there before I download. I'm then resizing the image manually on my computer to the maximum pixel and quality in Jpeg format. So my images are 9000x12780 and 96dpi. Is this sufficient, or should the dpi be higher?

If so, is there a free way to do this? Most upscaling softwares I've looked at promote 'free' but are actually paid after a trial.
