Really, in my experience, almost nothing beats the controls in Photoshop, but for the kinds of edits you need, www.photopea.com does the same thing and is free. 2 important things that I’ll cover quickly that you’ll need to look into for yourself because you know most about your own digital photos, are a) aspect ratio and b) image resolution. Wow, seven sales in a short period of time! That’s enviable. I’m an all niches in one place too, and I would have sold nothing if I stuck with the weird theme I started with. When you say cars, are they recognizable makes and models? If so, unfortunately, you need to remove them straightaway as Etsy can shut down your shop for something like copyright infringement.

@Harry Chisholm good question! Unless someone has a license, they shouldn’t be! I have a feeling this is where Etsy’s policy hypocrisy comes in. They’ll suspend/remove your shop if they spot you doing something wrong and you’re new/a low-volume seller, but if you have high volume and bizarrely good ratings, I think they keep your store up because it means good money for them. In a break from my usual easygoing attitude on these matters, I actually reported a store that’s inexplicably popular (“oh, my kids love it!”) that claims to be licensed but no way, because it features a dreadful Bing dalle of Knuckles the Echidna with visible ears. Did they answer me or take this store down? Nope!

Good question. Are you talking about Etsy Ads? In my experience ONLY (there are others who have fared differently), Etsy Ads remain absolute toilet and my funds have gone there simply into a black hole. My shop literally performs better without them.

This is great! (And don’t worry, I was over 1 month in before my first sale, plus I had the fortune to make it to a facebook friend.) I would say add a generic video to each listing and have a size comparison chart for your A-sized prints too. Now, for the little squirrels (they are RIGHT up my street!), I would consider using a different AI. Most AIs will struggle with more than 2 characters in one space, and you’ve got issues with misplaced tails, missing/merged legs, the 2nd squirrel poster appears to have them with little misplaced eyes growing from the sides of their heads. Someone, like me, who loves material like this, will notice and not buy. Oh, plus there’s issues in the mirror reflections (maybe you want to avoid that; it can be hard even for the most updated AI to get right). Gemini nano banana 2 is what I almost religiously use. You will need to upscale as the resolution is low, but this is what you can get. And yes, I needed to give it one extra prompt to correct the reflection!

@Eloise Kelly very welcome indeed! And oh no- you must notice. After about 400 posters your critical eye will become more automatic but, until then, spend at least 30 seconds with each poster and keep an eye out for generative errors. 👍
