One of my favorite lessons comes from Jesse Itzler’s book, Living with the Monks. It’s a simple concept that can be LIFE-CHANGING if you take it to heart: "Remember Tomorrow."
What Does It Mean to "Remember Tomorrow"?
When you’re faced with a choice...
Whether it’s something you’re tempted to quit or a moment you’d rather take the easy way out...
Remember how that choice will feel tomorrow...
When you think about skipping a workout, cutting a corner, or giving up on something that’s hard, stop and ask yourself:
Will I regret this decision tomorrow?
Will I feel proud of what I did today?
It's about thinking beyond the right now and considering the impact of your decisions on your future self.
It’s that voice telling you, “Yeah, maybe today’s choice feels easy, but how will it sit with me tomorrow?”
Whether it's working on your business, tackling a challenging project, or staying consistent in your personal goals, “Remember Tomorrow” keeps you grounded in accountability. Every choice you make TODAY adds up to the life you'll live TOMORROW.
Imagine you’re in the middle of a tough task and want to quit...what would tomorrow look like if you pushed through instead of giving up?
Russell Brunson always emphasizes consistency and taking the hard path for long-term success.
He talks about how the small, daily actions lead to the big results.
Remember Tomorrow is that same mentality – you’re not just working for today’s win but for the impact it will have tomorrow, next week, next year.
Every time I’m tempted to take the easy route or postpone something important, I pause and remember tomorrow.
How will my future self feel if I skip this step?
This mindset keeps me focused on long-term growth rather than short-term comfort.
What About You?
