No Superpowers Needed: They Just Put in the Work!

I read a great post from Andy Frisella this morning about how nobody you look up to has superpowers...They aren’t special, gifted, or more capable than you!

If you think they have something you don’t, I promise you...they don’t!

They’ve just done one simple thing you haven’t:

They Put In The Work!

What I Learned: The REAL Difference Between You and Your Heroes

Your heroes struggle, get stressed, make mistakes, and feel like quitting…just like YOU. But instead of stopping when it gets hard, they push through.

They never quit...

And that’s what sets them apart.

There are only THREE reasons why you haven’t built the same life for yourself:

You Haven’t Put in the Work Required
You’re Doing the Wrong Kind of Work
You Haven’t Done the Right Work for Long Enough

If you’re honest, it’s probably some combination of all three.

How YOU Can Apply This:

Ask yourself:

➡️ Are you really putting in the work? The REAL work—focused, consistent, and done with intent.

➡️ Are you skilled enough to know what the right work is? Maybe you need to learn more, improve your skills, or get guidance.

➡️ Have you been doing the right kind of work long enough? Success takes time. Keep going when it gets tough!

By answering these questions, you’ll see exactly why your heroes achieve so much...they show up, do the right work, and do it for as long as it takes!

How I’m Putting This Into Practice:

If I’m being brutally honest with myself...When I face a challenge, I ask: Am I REALLY putting in the work? If not, I adjust. If it’s hard, I push harder instead of giving up.

I remind myself that my heroes are just like me, minus the excuses.
