Funnel Hacking Live is an incredible event—but if you're an introvert like me, the idea of networking with thousands of people can feel overwhelming. 😬
You want to make meaningful connections, but the thought of endless small talk and forced conversations? 🤮 No thanks!
Here’s the good news: You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to build relationships.
Instead of struggling with awkward intros, you can use The Hero’s Journey to start conversations that actually matter.
The Hero’s Journey is the Ultimate Conversation Starter!
Russell Brunson teaches that every great story follows the Hero’s Journey—and guess what? Every person at FHL is on their own journey, too. Instead of generic small talk, ask questions that help people share their story.
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ “What got you into this world?” → This lets them share their Call to Adventure. Every entrepreneur has a reason they started—this opens the door for a meaningful conversation.
2️⃣ “What’s been your biggest challenge so far?” → Now you’re talking about their Struggles and Obstacles—not surface-level fluff. People love sharing their experiences, and this builds instant rapport.
3️⃣ “What’s your big goal for this event?” → This ties into their Transformation and Next Steps. It helps you understand their mission and creates a real connection.
How YOU Can Apply This:
✅ Ditch the small talk. Instead of “So, what do you do?” ask about their journey.
✅ Look for the quiet connectors. Not everyone is in the loud, outgoing crowd—some of the most valuable conversations happen in smaller groups or 1-on-1 settings.
✅ Remember: You belong here. You don’t need to be the life of the party to build powerful relationships. Just be genuinely interested in people’s stories.
How I’m Putting This Into Practice:
This year I’m heading into FHL with this game plan: Less small talk, more meaningful conversations.
Instead of feeling like I have to introduce myself to everyone, I’m focusing on quality over quantity—meeting the right people and learning their stories.
The goal isn’t just to “network”—it’s to build real connections with people who are on the same path.
Your Turn!
