Another workshop in the books at Grounds for Sculpture, and this one was so good!
Today I did a juicing demo with two different recipes, and we spent a good chunk of time just talking through the real differences between juicing and smoothies. The benefits of each, when to use which, what fruits and vegetables actually do for your body. People were asking questions, jumping into the conversation, and it just had this really great energy throughout. Workshops like that are my favorite.
Now, full transparency: this was a BUSY week. I did not meal prep. And I felt it.
We have been piecing things together with some takeout, salad, and whatever I could find. But honestly? I pulled a lentil soup out of the freezer yesterday that saved the day. Past me really came through.
And that is exactly why I talk so much about meal prep. It is not about being perfect every week. It is about building a foundation that carries you through the weeks when life just takes over. I was not able to cook much this week, but because I had prepped and frozen things in prior weeks, I still ate well.
Even on your busiest weeks, there are ways to take care of yourself. It just takes a little planning ahead.
How are you all doing with meal prep this week? Drop it below, I want to hear!
