Prepped a load of food for the week ahead 🙌
I’m eating out 3 times this week, but I’ll be staying mindful of my choices and food intake while still fully enjoying myself 💪🙌
Hitting new PBs in weight training too, which feels amazing and it’s so good to see the progress. I’m now pushing 100kg on the leg press — haven’t done that since I was 19, so I’m feeling seriously strong 💪
Bent over row is up to 12.5kg and I’m definitely feeling the burn with that one 🔥 Barbell DL is now at 25kg and feeling solid — taking it steady so I could really nail the technique first, as I was feeling it more in my back than my glutes and hamstrings before. Now I’m feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to level it up again.
Absolutely loving that my weight has stayed the same, body fat has dropped, and I’m feeling more toned and content in myself. My only frustration? Clothes not fitting anymore 🫣
I’ve got a few health challenges I’m battling right now, but I’m refusing to let them get the better of me. Just pivoting where I can, while waiting on investigations and putting a few things on hold until after the bike ride.
7 weeks until the London to Amsterdam bike ride 🚴♀️ so training really needs to ramp up now. Half term is coming up and I’m off to Anglesey, so I need to make sure I factor in some exercise while I’m there — whether that’s a run or sneaking off to a gym.
There are also some really positive changes happening in my environment, which feels so nice. I’m getting lots of much-needed me time alongside my training time, and honestly… it’s making me feel all 🥰💜
