Easter holidays πŸ₯΄
So it's been a rough few days...I got a bad cold Sunday from my daughter who had it for about a day and then returned to the energy of a jack Russell 🀯 Still have it and now I have the bonus of a chesty cough. I'm trying not to worry about it because I definitely can't run like this, but I've kept my steps up and yesterday I tried a very short set with weights. I'm on the lemsips and all my regular bits but if anyone has any suggestions for a quick recovery, I would love to know as I'm desperate to get back to doing all the things I was doing. Trigger warning - anxiety
So this afternoon has been a very trying afternoon. Anxiety reared it's ugly head and I have been battling ever since to get to a calm place. I tried my music, tried walking, tried shutting myself away to have a complete break from everything. Not hung seemed to work. I have a theory about this though. It had no real trigger today. When I can identify the trigger I feel I can work past the anxiety better. This is a big realisation as I thought there was no rhyme or reason to my panic attacks. With this in mind I'm going to do research into other ways to fight panic attacks to see if there is something that works when the start is an unknown.sorry if this has upset anyone just wanted to share.

I have no idea how old you are but when you said there was no real trigger it made me think of my own perimenopause. I've had anxiety my whole life but as soon as I hit peri I was having anxiety for no reason at all. It would hit her in the middle of a walk, sitting watching TV at home, and since going on HRT that has gone away. It might not be this, but just thought it was something to think about, especially if you are 39 +. All the women in my family started early at 39. Hoping you are feeling better today x

Didn't get a good sleep again...this time it was foxes...up to frisky business 🫣 Anyway I had a break yesterday and the sun was out so I decided to go for a run! I've signed up for a 10k so only double what I did todayπŸ˜³πŸ€£πŸ™ŒπŸΌI've done half marathons before, but not while in the thicks of peri. But I love a goal and I know I will do itπŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Picture of my steps so far today and I've yet to pick up my daughter 😊 Get out in the sun today guys!

Had an awful sleep, woke up every hour🀯and not by kidsπŸ₯΄πŸ«£ don't worry...hubby got the magnesium today πŸ’ͺ🏻so watch this space.. So I decided I would leave running and weights and focus on steps as it was already going to be a long day finishing with a welcome night at the highschool for my son. Wins: Did a lot of steps Got through the day even though I woke up not wanting to Hope you all had a good day πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹πŸ» So I'm doing so much better after having all the things in the second picture...is there anything you would say I should swap 🧐or anything to add? I'm also on HRT. My lovely perimenopausal body used to wake me at 5:30 but it's now 4:30πŸ₯΄ But for the most part, feeling better. Big win...I upped my weights today! Can't believe it! Consistent workouts, that what it is. Thank you for all the encouragement yesterday everyone. I really appreciate it x

@Jude Surr I think it worked so fast for me because in all honesty I think I started it way late, like my body was literally gasping for them by the time I went to see about getting it🫣but I'm looking after myself nowπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
