I’m scared and nervous

As-salamu alaykum to my lovely sisters,

I need some advice. My family has set me up with a potential match — he’s my cousin’s cousin, so we’re not actually related, and I’ve never met him before. We’ve exchanged contact information and have had some lighthearted conversations so far. He seems very open, curious, engaged, and thoughtful so far.

I’m honestly feeling a little scared and nervous about getting to know someone again, and I don’t want to repeat any past mistakes. I also don’t want to waste time dragging something out if it’s not right.

Are there any good conversation topics that could help me get a better sense of him sooner rather than later? Any insight would be appreciated.
