Working in sales I’ve noticed every single career woman over 40 is
Divorced
Bitter and aggressive
Uses petty ultimatums to control the call (I’m going to hang up if you don’t XYZ, I know what’s on my credit report I don’t need you to read it out to me, just tell my my rates I don’t need the lecture or I’ll take my business elsewhere)
They constantly cut me off and talk over me and then get mad when I use silence and telling them I have an appointment to get to in 15 minutes so if you want to end the call because I’m not going to get you qualified for any loans purely based off your damaged fico….
Bragging about perfect payment history when they maxed out all their credit lines and have 99% debt to income ratio and 110% utilization… and late payments they argue with you about not having… (sends screen shot of late payments)
They constantly lie
They promise they will have 10 minutes of undivided attention at a certain time to go over results and when I call and ask to confirm they can sit down and grab a pen and paper they say yes’s but as I start to pitch then they are obviously doing something else…
Zero respect o
They don’t listen to understand they wait for you to say what they want to hear or for you to stop talking (or cut you off) so they can complain and bitch and guilt trip me for loans they don’t qualify for…
(take your 590 score and 110% maxed out credit lines to the bank, oh wait that’s why you have 15 hard inquires from every major bank and now you are here getting pitched debt settlement after I could not get you a loan… which I tried to find you predatory loans and got denied)
And they are afraid of honesty and being direct…
They are notorious for scheduling call backs and blocking me instead of just admitting they don’t want to get out of debt they just want more debt to solve their immediate desire (never a need)…
And they manufacture false needs like paying medical bills (get a fucking payment plan and drop the $400 monthly hair and nails budget, problem solved) or holidays (not a need when you got $59k in credit card debt)…
These women are terrible people in my experience, I’m sure there are some outliers but I have yet to see any…
However the aversion to responsibility and accountability along with the need short term gratification is clear to me why these women are the reason women carry most of the credit card debt in this country…..
And don’t get me started on the men going through divorces where the wife ran the cards up before filing for divorce… it’s about once a week I hear this story…
