I just want to settle this debate that I'm having with myself, or more like, go ahead with my action knowing that I will ruffle a few feathers. I'm on holiday now until Monday at a beach resort, saw a few women that I found pretty, but didn't approach. Got me thinking about age differences for the umpteenth time. On one hand, as a 27 year old, I very much favour younger women. I also know that it's also not all about looks, because I want someone who knows herself, someone who is independent (she doesn't need me to be happy), takes care of herself (eats healthily, exercises regularly), is a free thinker (I have nothing against religion), and doesn't spend money like water. Those are my non negotiables.
I'd rather go for women who are younger, because I want them. But I'm always open to changing my dating strategy if I think my current ideals are going to lead me to ruin.
What scares me the most is that as I get older, I will be subject to the stigma that older guys don't do well with younger women, and it will be seen as creepy if I want women who are much younger (eg being 35/36 and dating a 25-30 year old). But as I said, I am open to anything.
Thoughts on the above?
