Just watched a great video from where he shares his thoughts on the trending topic of "Looksmaxxing". I learned a lot so wanted to share some lessons with you guys.
1. Looks matter, but only up to a point
Improving your appearance from unattractive to average (getting lean, grooming well, fixing teeth) can significantly improve your attractiveness. But once you reach a decent level, becoming even more attractive brings much smaller returns.
2. Status and social proof attract women more than looks alone
Women are strongly influenced by a man’s status, competence, charisma, and whether other women are interested in him. A man with strong social proof and status can often outperform a better-looking man without those traits.
3. Extreme looksmaxing is unnecessary and often harmful
Practices like bone smashing, limb-lengthening surgery, heavy steroid use, or dangerous fat-loss methods carry serious health risks and offer little real benefit. Most of the gains come from simple habits like getting lean, dressing well, and good grooming.
I linked the video below if anyone wants to check it out. Highly recommend it!
And what are your thoughts on looksmaxxing, btw?
