AI Agents for Managers is happening in 10 hours
AI Agents for Managers - this Thursday. Last post about AI for a while.
I've been using AI agents for months, and I want to show you what actually works. We will go through 3 levels - basic automation with LLM, outsourcing meeting management to agents, to full vibe-coding prototypes. The point of the workshop is to showcase what you can do but also to get you thinking about what can be done and how you can start. After this workshop, I'm taking a break from AI content for a bit. There's more to leadership than AI. Thursday, August 13th @ 4–5 pm Vancouver time meet.google.com/cvz-seqs-mbf
Yes, we can't escape AI
My company had an All-Hands meeting today, and the leadership team had an interesting take on productivity. In 2025, it was all about AI Adoption - the badge of honour was "we are using AI", in early 2026, the badge of honour was "I use the most tokens", and today, the new badge is "I can prove I can do the work of two employees from 2025". My team grew by 3x from early 2025, but we only added one more PM. In the workshop, I will showcase how I use Claude to automate a lot of simple tasks in a repeatable way, but I do want to drive the point home -> AI is an enabler, and you need to know how to build systems. Today I connected my Hermes Agent to Buffer, so I can post on LinkedIn in a much more seamless and straightforward way. I have zero excuse not to do it. It is a simple system but one that works. And it is the same with everything else. What system are you going to build next?
AI sector is not slowing down for summer
It is hard to keep up with the AI sector's growth. It keeps moving, inventing and growing, even while we take the summer break. The AI Agents workshop is here to ensure that we, as managers and leaders don't fall behind. There are two groups forming here -> those who know how to adopt AI tools in their day-to-day and those who don't. Yesterday I talked to a friend who works for a start-up which focuses on AI enabled tooks for the finance sector, they just replaced two PMs who didn't know how to use AI tools with two PM/PdMs who did. The scary part here was they didn't invest in training - that was too slow, they just replaced them with new talent with desirable knowledge. The voting for workshop date didn't get much traction, but I am leaning towards the 13th at 4 PM PT. Come and join me to learn how I take advantage of those tools, and share the use cases that you have in mind or already implemented.

Committee delivered
Last week I was writing about a volunteer-driven event organized by a committee, without a single leader to take charge. Not the best experience if I am honest, but I have to say that in the end the event worked out quite well. At the end of the day, it is a car display and not an open-heart surgery, there are no super harsh consequences if anything goes wrong. Which led me to ask myself a question - why was I so frustrated about it? I think it's because I have quite high standards for myself and the work I deliver. And I project that on everything that I do. But was this so necessary here? I don’t know. Where does your perfectionism stand in the way of just getting things done?

Next workshop date - please vote
Please let me know which date works best for you. As stated before, this workshop will be about Agentic AI setup for managers, it will explain how I make AI run some of my meetings, how I vibe code custom reporting dashboards and how I use the agent to ask for updates.
