New Content: Smart Multi-Field Search in Power Apps
This small but powerful search behavior dramatically improves user experience in apps that contain people, products, projects, or any multi-column data.
What the search does (key features)
- Accepts multiple words in any order (separated by spaces)
- Finds matches when words appear anywhere across several fields
- Returns a record only if every word you typed is found somewhere in that record (AND logic)
- Ignores letter case and extra spaces
- Correctly handles the case where one word finishes in one field and the next word starts in a different field
