Reached $2M (From $500K to $2M in 3 weeks)

Around 2 weeks ago, one of my portfolios reached a low of $500K.

Today, it reached over $2M for the first time.

What happened?

I improved my strategy.

For Q1, I had held onto some hope that Trump adminstration wouldn't screw up the market. But I was wrong.

In April, I revised my strategy after the big drop in the market.

Instead of focusing on long, I focus on long and short.

After that, I had the biggest one day gain $400K which took my portfolio from around $600K to $1M

Then, I focused on the long and short the market.

As of Apr 23, I reached the $2M milestone.

For the upcoming months, I am sure the market will continue to be volatile.

While the portfolio balance will go up (and also go down), what's important is to observe the market and revised the strategy accordingly.

Yes - bear markets can be more frustrating than average as it requires you to play both sides.

But sometimes, the payoff is also quite handsome.

For this portfolio, it is to set the foundation for the future hedge fund I am looking to build here.

Early investors can get a target 20% dividend along with capital growth as the company grows as well.
