When we finally decide to play something else on the guitar, other than that one riff or song we are always doing, that's where progress is. Progress is on the edge of the things we like to do, in life and on the guitar...
But for the sake of learning guitar, we'll just keep this post Skool and guitar related, and stay away from the life stuff lol.
Adding a note to the end of the lick you do, inspires a new chain of melody. Bumping another rhythm with the same notes we do all the time or changing who we are listening to.
Whatever the case, we can see that the "shift" here is in allowing ourselves to do something different. Give yourself permission to move the needle by changing something you play today. You don't "HAVE TO" play only different things today. But taking the leap to try is what will take you there.
Take a moment today to find a thread here you haven't seen yet or given a try. Hop into the Classroom section (up top of the main page) and go through something you haven't gotten the chance to see yet. Do a self recording like our friends and (great job by the way boys) Get something posted up under there after you try it, you might just surprise yourself with how well you do. We'll catch ya there!
