@John Costa that's a great description of your current situation on the guitar. Glad to have you. When you say improvising, are you referring to "solo"-ing? Or do you mean you are improvising some song writing? Tell us more 🧐 Thanks!

@Edt Gilmour We know exactly what you mean, but for clarifications sake... Where are you stuck my friend? Would you say that you know your Major/Minor -scales and your CAGED system, pretty well at this point?🤓🎸 (Guitar Nerd Questions lol)
Thank you
Have been playing guitar since the late 60's. Moving growing up kept me from being consistent. Now trying to catchiup .

This is a super familiar story, I see all too often. I think it's encouraging to see yet another person taking the time to acknowledge that they picked up the guitar a while back, and want to get going again on it. This is great! Good to have you Harry! We're also progressing through our own obstacles here, through dedication to our goals and our community. Our motivation is backed by our desire to help others succeed. We want to build the number one online guitar community, and to do that - we need players that are making their guitar dreams come true. What are those dreams? How far will you go? how far are we willing to go to achieve this? I just got all pumped up after a good night of jamming and some profound motivational speeches. So excuse me while I just get more and more excited to have you along with us. Tell me more... Do you have a guitar or a few? What are your current abilities? Whatever they are is cool here. Thanks in advance for your time. Cheers!

@Larry Cannon nice! I can dig it!
Hi everyone!
Hello! My name is Mike. I live in SW Oklahoma. I have been "playing" guitar for 25 years. I have no access to teachers, etc. here so everything i know is from YouTube mostly. Put my guitar up about 10 years ago because I still cant play well. Got it out about a year ago again amd finally got barre chords down. But, thats it! Still have no clue what I'm doing lol Ive been searching for help and have landed here.
