At the end of this video I knock down the picture behind me... 😬 It's an Airbnb lol Working on some of the basics? This one's for you. When it all clicks you'll be so grateful to know this fretboard "hack". I always loved being able to easily move up the guitar neck using a chord shape I already knew. So in this video I'm discussing just that, using my D chord finger shape to make a melody and practice my strumming. Then using the E chord shape to do the same thing. Make a melody with that shape and just run it up and down the neck while strumming. If you're not familiar with these shapes, no big deal. I go over how to make the chords shapes in the video and I'll include a diagram of the chords themselves in the comments. Was the video helpful? Let us know in the comments! Thanks you guys!

Here we go! There will be a part 2 for the chords learning and play along. Thanks for your participation in this week's multi day song review/ lesson geared towards Beginners and Beginnermediate players alike! Voted for by you. "Some people" will hear a song they like and think 🤔 "bet I can play this, it sounds easy" - grab their guitar and go 🤔 wait... How do I even play the rhythm part with my right hand to make it sound like the real song? Lol 😆 🫂 that's me.... I am "some people." If that's you too - like this post 😂🎸 otherwise we'll catch you in the comments where I'll share the rhythm and the chords for anyone who's interested.

Which of these songs would you be interested in learning first? In the future we can choose other songs, we could even learn a suggested song from you... This time, I will ask you to choose from the songs I've picked out. I'm attaching 3-4 song/ musical choices... I chose each song for the important skills thar are used in them to create their own vibe, and to showcase the differences in rhythms that go into each song. I'm going to look for your answers and produce these videos in order of attention they get. Which will it be?

Hey Ben! I wanted to say thank you for the lesson on finding these 7th chords! Although I'm fairly comfortable with them, the explanation of finding them on the fly is going to be very helpful! Especially when I come to a backing track that uses (sometimes) a variety of 7ths. As always (usually 🤔) you've made it crystal clear!

Hey everyone, today has been a full day of recording and editing video's for here in Skool, and for some of our other social media platforms. I'm taking a break now and wanted to just do something for fun in here for you all. So here's a bit of something I'm working on at the moment, I've only got a few final ideas in here, but for the most part I'm just improvising and jamming. Figured you might get a kick out of seeing me struggle haha! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! Mike will be around a bit, but he and his family are on a trip right now so we will have to just keep our eye's out for him. Don't worry though, I'm here! See you tomorrow with a quick 5 minute lesson, and then again on Friday will a longer one! -B
