Words I like: If you want better clients, stop selling cheap stuff.
Words I like too: If you want better customers, stop offering the path of least investment.
Mozi Minute: The Premium-Only Menu
Most service businesses kill their profit by offering a "budget tier" to capture more clients. But here's what actually happens: cheap clients choose it AND premium clients choose it (because why wouldn't they?). You end up with a business full of your worst offering.
Here's the fix: Remove ALL budget options. Only show 3 premium choices. Pro Tip: Don't inch up gradually. Make a clean break to premium-only options.
Example marketing agency:
Old menu:
- Basic: $1,000/mo
- Standard: $2,000/mo
- Premium: $3,000/mo
- Elite: $5,000/mo
New menu:
- Advanced: $3,000/mo
- Premium: $5,000/mo
- Elite: $8,000/mo
The best part:
  1. Budget clients disqualify themselves before wasting sales time
  2. Quality prospects show up ready to invest
