START HERE — Welcome to the Glamping Development Community
Hey there — I’m Chris Jeub. I own and operate Monument Glamping in Colorado, and I’ve built this community to help landowners turn their property into a revenue-generating asset through glamping. If you’re here, you’re probably exploring one of these paths: - Turning raw land into income - Adding a tent, dome, cabin, or container home - Navigating county permits, utilities, and inspections - Financing your build-out without drowning in debt - Learning from someone who’s already done it (and is still in the trenches daily) That’s exactly what this community is for. Straight answers. Real experience. No hype. No theorizing. Just the actual road to building a profitable glamping site. WHAT TO DO FIRST To get the most out of this community, knock out these steps: 1. Introduce Yourself — Tell us where you're from, what land you have (or want), and what you hope to build. 2. Watch the Videos — Check out the Classroom to get a feel for the systems: the build-out phases, permits, utilities, operations, and financing. 3. Book an Onboarding Call — If you’re serious about building, the call will help you figure out your next right step and whether any of my programs can help you get there faster. WHAT TO EXPECT HERE This community is your shortcut. You’ll find: - Case studies from actual glamping owners - Financing strategies and breakdowns - Permitting wins (and battles I’ve fought so you don’t have to) - Build-out lessons, mistakes, and legal nuances - Operations systems that actually scale - Weekly tips from what I’m dealing with in real time This is the stuff nobody tells you until you’re already in trouble. You get it up front. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES - Be real. No posturing, no guru talk. - Be helpful. Share wins, struggles, lessons. - Be respectful. We’re all in different stages. - No spam or promo. This group only works if we keep it honest and useful. YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF… - You own land (or want to) - You want to build a glamping site the right way - You want to avoid catastrophic mistakes - You want a community of builders, not dreamers

New Video Just Dropped — Inviting More Landowners Into Our Circle
Hey everyone — quick update. I just published a new YouTube video with one goal in mind: bringing more landowners into this community who are serious about developing their property. It’s a short intro to Your Land Is Gold — who we are, why we exist, and why no one should have to navigate zoning, financing, permitting, or land development alone. My hope is that a few viewers out there will hear the story and think, “Okay… this is the group I’ve been looking for.” I’m trying to widen the funnel a bit and pull in the kind of people who will strengthen what we’re already building here — thoughtful landowners, motivated beginners, and folks who want to learn shoulder-to-shoulder the same way we do. If you’d like to watch it or share it with someone who might be a fit, here’s the link: https://youtu.be/x90KbQ0gvHE More to come — and thanks for being the core of what makes this community special.

Happy Monday, Ikigai Weirdos!
So this morning Todd Wynne-Parry texted me a little diagram I had never seen before — the four-circle “ikigai” framework. Naturally, I fell straight down the wormhole. Research mode activated. But the more I dug, the more something surprising hit me: This thing describes exactly what we’re trying to build here in YLIG. Ikigai is basically the center of the target — the overlap of: - What you love - What you’re good at - What the world needs - What you can get paid for And suddenly I thought… "wait a minute." Isn’t that the whole point of what we’re doing as land developers, dream-chasers, freedom-builders? We’re not just trying to build glamping sites or short-term rentals. We’re trying to build lives that sit closer and closer to that bullseye — purpose, capability, contribution, and income all lined up. So here’s your Monday nudge: If you’re in this group, you’re already one of the “ikigai weirdos.” You’re someone who refuses to settle for the life everyone else sleepwalks through. You’re aiming for that center. Let’s keep moving toward it together. Happy Monday, friends — let’s build.
Happy Monday, Ikigai Weirdos!
A Quick Reflection on Freedom
I’m writing this from Grand Junction — five hours from home — where my son and his debate partner have a tournament on Monday and Tuesday. I think I’m the only dad here. The room is full of moms, teachers, and volunteer judges… and then there’s me, the guy who took half the week off in the middle of December to watch high schoolers debate. It hit me on the drive over: this is the freedom we’re all actually building toward. Not the Instagram version. Not the “four-hour-workweek” fantasy. But the real, quiet, meaningful freedom to choose where you spend your time — and who you spend it with. Most people can’t disappear for two days on the far side of Colorado. But as landowners and entrepreneurs, we’re playing a different game. When you build something that works — something that produces income without chaining you to a desk — you unlock choices other people don’t have. That’s the whole heartbeat of Your Land Is Gold. We’re not just developing properties. We’re developing options. Freedom to show up for your family. Freedom to step away when needed. Freedom to travel, dream, breathe a little. Freedom to live on your terms instead of someone else’s schedule. Days like today remind me why we’re doing this. Would love to hear how “freedom” has shown up in your journey lately — big or small. (Picture taken by my son over one of the passes on the way here)

Upcoming Changes to YLIG: Explorer Track + Masters Track
Hey everyone — I want to give you a clear look at where YLIG is heading. I’m restructuring the community so it better reflects the real stages landowners go through. Going forward, YLIG will have two membership levels: the FREE Explorer Track and the PAID Masters Track. *** FREE — The Explorer Track *** This is for people who are actively exploring the idea of developing land — curious, interested, maybe even running early numbers — but not yet committed to a project. Explorer members will still have access to community conversations and the weekly meetings, giving you a chance to listen, learn, and get a feel for what real development looks like. I’m also considering a small set of introductory lessons inside the Classrooms to help you understand opportunities and possibilities. But that’s it. Anything involving planning, financing, permitting, strategy, or execution will remain behind the paywall. *** PAID — The Masters Track *** This is for those who are building: you have land, you’re under contract, or you’re in the middle of design, development, permits, operations, or launch. The Masters Track includes everything you need to succeed — templates, MonGlamp documents, business workflows, compliance case studies, backend operations, and the full Mastermind experience. This is where real progress happens, and it’s designed specifically for people who are moving forward, not just thinking about it. The Masters Track has two payment options: - Monthly - Yearly (saves $100) Pick whichever fits your season. *** About upgrading or downgrading *** Some of you will realize you’re better suited for the Explorer Track right now. Others will see that it’s time to step into the Masters Track because you’re actively developing. I’m good with both. My goal is to support you in the lane that actually matches your momentum. More updates soon — but this is the direction, and it’s going to make the entire YLIG ecosystem clearer, stronger, and more aligned with the real journey of land-based hospitality.
