So our first Moray Mental Health FC Squad of the year has been announced with both Goalkeepers being members of this community and J4K users ( & Myself) Moray Mental health like so many charity sides around the UK are about the message we bring to each match day. For ourselves it is about the struggles men have with Mental health and ensuring people know that it is #oknottobeok
Mental health is not always Depression, it can be self doubt, the feeling of being worthless, and so many other things in our minds that eat away at us. As Goal Keepers we work with our mindset on such a different level but we can use our own base to notice changes in our team mates, Friends and Family in our day to day. For ourselves younger members of the community you may notice this mostly around Exam times but not exclusively. For us adults it is not an exclusive in Men, it can effect anyone in society, but we need to support each other and ensure when we note an obvious change in folks they know they can talk because it is ok not to be ok. I hope to keep you all updated on our cause and maybe even meet some of you in the community if we come to play a side you know of that has similar values and may wish to play our side in a charity environment.
