Today my team had a friendly against a team in a higher league to us last season. 1 player didn't show so we had 10 players. By half time we were down 2-0 the 1st goal the ref gave a penalty I had ran out and kicked the ball away the player jumped over my leg and dived i hadn't touched him and it wasn't even in the box but the ref reckoned I left my leg put which I hadn't. They tried the same on the second half but didn't get away with it. The second half we conceded a lot more as my team were exhausted and it showed. However I got a lot of praise from the opposition coaches, players and my team and i got MOTM along with another player. I wore the Supero gloves today which I was actually really impressed with I wasn't expecting them to be as good as white palms as usual they aren't but I was surprised as to how great the grip was and will wear them again tomorrow now

Goalkeeper parents — does anyone else have this problem?! My son’s hands get really sweaty when he’s playing, and the biggest issue isn’t grip… it’s trying to get his goalkeeper gloves on and, especially, getting them off afterwards! 😂 They seem to get so tight and sweaty that taking them off becomes a battle. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for making gloves easier to get on and off? Or are there particular gloves that you’ve found better for sweaty hands? Would love to hear what works for your keepers! 🧤⚽

Anyone else had there local councils restrict the use of the grass pitches until at least end of September, all matches and training cancelled and with the cost to hire the 3G pitches being astronomical were not sure when we’ll be able to play football

We had a friendly with the team one spot ahead of us at the club for our age group. It’s was Jack’s first game with his team this season. All the teams got a bit of a shake up this season as we stitched from teams being organized from birth year(2015) to grade year (6th graders). The game was pretty even and very competitive. It’s very hot here in Missouri. They lost 2-0. Jack is excited to be back playing competitively.
