Bare bones
So unfortunately just a day before the season starts 2 players have told me team they are leaving. That's leaves us with 10 players at 9 aside. So annoying that they had all summer to tell us they were leaving or thinking of leaving. We are now in a difficult position where we will have to find replacements for them. Luckily we have September to get more players in but will have to put in a 7 day approach if they are signed up to a club already

Oh that’s annoying, at least you still have enough to field a team though, that’s a positive
Exciting morning
Kian has had a super exciting morning this morning playing at the Leeds united Thanks to everyone commenting on my previous post about my feeling of guilt to their regular goalkeeper and mum she was there and was so lovely to us and Kian introducing us to other parents and talking so highly of Kian. It was a real experience for him just to be there and have the opportunity Now I need to bring him down off cloud 9 🤣

What an awesome experience, I hope he had the best time and made lots of good saves! The other keepers mum sounds very nice and supportive which is great

@Xavier Stark Oh that doesn’t sound fun at all, it’s so frustrating when players don’t listen. Why did they take you off?! That’s not very fair
Any suggestions for an injury
Hi all, last week my young (11) GK sustained a tear in her UCL. So she’s out of the game for 4 weeks minimum much to her dismay, though she seems to think she will be back in goal by October maximum. The hospital weren’t really sure on when she can return to it, just a case of rest and wait and then try. Now, she lives and breathes her role and is forever training (incidentally how she did sustained the injury). My question is this…. Is there anything we can do to keep her mind in the game and her end goal…but to still keep her hand in while she recovers. She still wants to train, just obviously not catching, diving etc. she’s worried that if she’s completely out then her speedy footwork will lapse, her hand eye coordination will suffer…basically offering me up any excuse she can think of so I will let her still do something…anything. Any suggestions at all? Apologies for the essay 😂

Footwork and throwing and catching a tennis ball with her non injured arm, this will help with her hand eye coordination
Training night
The first time of properly wearing my patriotics and they seemed pretty nice sadly non of the drills tested the grip on them so look forward to re-trying them again soon
