When using the BBC 3D Experience to replay World Cup goals from any angle, I noticed that when striker is about to shoot the video shows lines from the ball to the posts. Because you can move the camera to any angle including the goalkeeper view, you can really get an understanding of what the pitch should look like for you as a goalkeeper when you are in the correct position for shots from the same areas as seen in the World Cup. You could also use this to analyse good positioning for crosses, and set up for free kicks. I find the 3D Experience fairly clunky to use, but for young goalkeepers I think the learning opportunity is fantastic. I don’t think we have ever had such a good tool before for analysing good goalkeeper positioning, for those keen to improve their positioning I highly reccomend spending some time looking at goalkeeper positioning and movement using the BBC 3D Experience from multiple angles. With enough repetition your mirror synapses in your brain will help you replicate the best goalkeepers in your matches.

So in this world cup there have been a lot of goals. What's your thoughts on the below I heard something earlier discussing if 1. Attackers are getting better or 2. Defences are getting worse.

I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how to get over mental blocks for high dives! during training when I have the time to think about them I just end up landing on my feet, during games I have no issue ! Open to all advice!
