I need some advice
I am getting frustrated with myself because I know I am improving and becoming a very good goalkeeper, however I feel like all my effort is for not. I was expecting that those around me would starting noticing that the gap was growing between me and them, and to be fair coaches and certain teammates have, but it does not change the attitudes of players who used to be better than me. Mainly I get frustrated that there is a lack of competition amongst my teammates because everyone believes they deserve playing time and are all going to go pro. Another frustration is my lack of connections for my age. I get to witness so many of my teammates, guys who donโ€™t really care too much about the sport) to get trial with MLS, Polish, and other professional teams with poor work-rate and terrible mentalityโ€™s in the way they live there life. It hurts me because I know that I am putting in the work and the effort, even with reaching out and trying to get connections, but I get very few opportunities from it or recognition. I am not whining or complaining because I still know that many wish they had the opportunities I continue to get, but I also NEED to elevate my level of play and join a pro team soon so that I can really become the best keeper I can. Iโ€™ve talked to former pro coaches and players and they think I am on the right track, but I still do not know how I need to go about getting my first pro contract. How should I go about trying to get my first contract or do I just have to wait it out until I get noticed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Level
What level do you currently play at. What level do you want to achieve and what's your history. I started as a striker for a team called elm. My pace allowed me to beat most to the ball and score goals. COVID hit and the team didn't start back up and I went to a team called Plymouth united. I played outfield and still scored lots of goals. The team didn't have a permanent keeper so I went on goal occasionally and was pretty good at it. The team competed and did well competing in the top league then we were torn apart when players left for a new project. Me and my dad who was coaching the team decided to keep the team together for the kids who remained. The next season was tough I was battered with shot after shot. But this made me the keeper I am. It gave me lots of practice. The following January I left the team and went to anothe top league team and became a staple in the team. I was happy at this team for a year but the training became poor and I felt unappreciated. I decided to leave for a team that compete at the highest level. We compete in every game and I have become a well rounded keeper who wants to improve all the time. I hope to be a professional goalkeeper and will work hard to achieve it. I do extra training and fitness training to help improve. What is your ceiling..do you believe you have a limit or are you reaching for the stars
