For the trial game I lost 4-1 and I made a few saves but the pitch was shocking. My Sunday league went even worse for starters we had 10 players but 1 was injured. In the first half it was 1-0 to us but the sun got to me and I felt sick. I then let 6 in but we scored 2 do it finished 3-6 . It was an unfair match because they didn't take off a player to balance it out. I got kicked in the arm and I'm injured. There was 3 males playing for them but they are girls is this allowed?

We kicked off the cup with a 1-1 draw against the same team we beat 4-0 last week, but it was a completely different game this time. Both teams were short on players. We had one sub, but after an injury in the last 10 minutes we ended up playing with one less. They came with no subs at all. We started well and took the lead, but in the second half they equalised from a wide free kick, perfectly delivered between the defence and myself. One of their players got a free header — I was completely exposed and couldn’t do much about it. To be fair, we reacted well after that. We pushed them back and spent most of the final part of the game in their half, but just couldn’t find the second goal. And without wanting to complain too much… two very clear penalties not given: a blatant handball and another one where their keeper clearly took out our striker. Even some of their players were laughing about it. Anyway, first game, one point — not a bad start. Let’s see what the next games bring.
