SUCCESS Sunday - What Was Your Win This Week?
Each week, I invite you to share your biggest win. This isn't about the scoreline, but rather what aspects of your goalkeeping you improved or what new product you got to enhance your game. Additionally, can you name three things you are grateful for? These don't have to be goalkeeper-related. The reason I do this is simple: everyone has tough weeks. Reflecting on and writing down your recent wins and what you're grateful for is a PROVEN way to realise that life is pretty great and you're a very lucky person. To get you started, here’s my win and what I'm thankful for this week: MY WIN: Getting over 5700 members and growing in this community, WHAT I AM GRATEFUL FOR: 1. Finally getting the free course live for you guys. 2. The amazing weather we have been having and the many BBQ i have been too. 3. Adding another 8 goalkeepers to the J4K goalkeeper glove sponsorship program. Share your win below and what you’re grateful for. Let's keep INSPIRING each other - Comment below, whats your wins.👇👇👇 And Remember, you are ALOT better off than what you may think ❤️

So this week a double win - footballing win was bouncing back from a disappointing defeat with a solid clean sheet My other win after 4 and a Bit years finally started in my new role as an Instructor with the company I am thankful for - Friends Family Team mates
Great start to the weekend
So tonight the management asked for a response after Tuesdays disappointing 2-1 defeat, So with not far off the same squad a good warm up and a strong team talk we hit the ground running 4-0 up inside the first 25 mins. A couple of small breaks against us but nothing much to do. Until a speculative long shot finally called me into proper action but safely dealt with everything was just about distribution Into the second half and again we were on the front foot but our opponent’s came back at us forcing some sweeping up Full time and a definite response as we rolled out 8-0 victors yet another clean sheet and more importantly moved up into 5th in the league

@Xavier Stark aye it’s a good start but still work to do
Not all Justice is met in a re-run
So first of 2 games this week was last night with our re-run fixture against Riverside Thistle. A team we were cruising against at 3-0 when the match was abandoned due to a large thunderstorm. As a Team we turned up firstly to find the building site next to the pitch had expanded and Infact a second load of ground work for the new Academy had begun right at the bottom of the Changing room steps (Cutting them off from the pitch) So after some neat handy work we got the goals up and the Heavens opened warm up complete inside for dry match hit and out we went. Off to a great start and 1-0 up through some good play out in the left wing. Things turned badly against us. Our holding midfielder brought down in our box was then judged to have handled the Ball (How I do not know he was laying on both hands) - Penalty awarded. I saved the first attempt but could only parry into the net the rebound shot. 5 minutes later and I thought we had a WWE ref as my left CB was manhandled off the ball as we appealed for the freekick a shot again came in and I was only able to parry the ball into the net. 2-1 and the team rightly annoyed sadly started biting at the REf and that only leads one way (50/50’s go against you) Some good second half saves and my J4K gloves performing really well taking catch after catch but we just could not find the equaliser and then go on to win it. We go again battered and bruised from that game this Friday night as we return home for our next league fixture

@Preston Oldfield it was just a battle royale at times in the outfield. I like a physical game but when the ref calls it down the middle
ANY GAMES TODAY OR TOMORROW ?

Following a wee holiday whilst our 2 games were luckily cancelled I am returning to Action for a re-run of an Abandoned League match tomorrow (7pm kick off) a win can see us knocking in the door of 5th in the league. In the original we were 3-0 up after 43 minutes and 21 seconds (from the abandonment report) where a massive thunder and Lightening storm started up. (The storm went on until 4am) So hopefully still be selected with a new keeper signed over the weekend to the club. We shall see what happens.
