Domino effect to nothing?
Hola Masters!
I come to yo today with a consult for those more experienced, a member of the party has as goal to find specific magic items that will make them a special bard and fulfill a profecy of his kin.
The last session ended with them sorrounded by enemies while looking for the item, everything seems to indicate that they will fail this one. (either dying or escaping)
How far do you take the consecuences of goal fails? Part of his prophecy is finding this very specific item, if the item gets destroyed does this mean that he wont be able to complete his long term goal anymore at all?
What could I do in this case and how would you manage this?
