So, what exactly is Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence? Well, on 25th July 2024, the Directive on corporate sustainability due diligence (Directive 2024/1760) came into effect. This Directive aims to promote sustainable and responsible corporate practices within companies' operations and throughout their global value chains. The new regulations will require companies within scope to recognize and mitigate any adverse human rights and environmental impacts resulting from their activities, both within and beyond Europe.

This initiative marks a significant step towards fostering sustainability and accountability in corporate practices, ensuring a more ethical and environmentally conscious approach to business operations.
