Sunday morning and just downloaded and updating the new Meta Business Suite on my phone before football kicks off. I then went down a Rabbit hole of visiting posts from times past on Facebook/instagram and it took me all the way back to 2012. I was posting back when I first started the business. Those who know my story know I started crating/packing and shipping from my home garage in Gilbert, Arizona. I remember my first big order of 30 crates for a mining company and having friends over for a “Pizza Party” on a Sunday and they all pitched in to help build crates. lol That was 2012. (These are pics from my home garage from back then) Now Gateway has 4 warehouses in 3 states A Carrier Divison A Brokerage Divison And is a full blown 3PL with nationwide government contracts that has our Carrier company deliver in all 50 states. With all the doom and gloom in the industry I just want to share some holiday cheer. I am proof you can start from nothing and build to a multimillion dollar business! This customer left us a google review AND called me last week to tell me how much he appreciated the great care we put into packing his classic guitar amp. He told me this piece was “Rare” only 4 ever made and valuable. He even said he was restless, 😬 nervous, lost sleep while this was in transit. lol But once he received it and unpacked it, then plugged it in to find out it even works! He was so ecstatic. He had to let me know and wanted to tell the world! In this industry the phone rings most often because there is a problem and it needs to be fixed.
