Important Update: Migration to AdamRingler.com
Hey everyone — I’ve got an important update to share with you. At the end of this month, I’ll be officially discontinuing this Skool community. After six months of testing and building, it’s become clear that the platform fees just aren’t sustainable. I was hopeful that we’d reach a point where the value of the community could justify the high monthly costs — but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. Right now, I’m losing a significant amount of money each month, and continuing on this path just isn’t feasible. But here’s the GOOD NEWS: I’m not going anywhere — and neither is this community. I’ve already migrated every one of you over to my membership site at AdamRingler.com and gifted you the same lifetime FREE access you’ve had here. All the videos, Q&A calls, accountability sessions, and masterclasses have been exported to AdamRingler.com/society— and I’ll be working hard behind the scenes to maintain the same structure, cadence, and value you’ve come to expect. The layout might look a bit different, but my goal is to actually improve the organization and usability as we move forward. I can’t thank you enough for your support. The Former Athlete Society is still growing, and we’re building something real and valuable together. This transition is just a step toward making it stronger and more sustainable. Let’s keep moving forward. – Adam

New Accountability Call: “No One’s Coming to Save You” (Full Replay)
Had a quiet Accountability Zoom today—no one showed up, which honestly made the theme of the session even more real. In this 16-minute video, I talk about what it actually takes to build consistency after college sports, and why we can’t rely on motivation anymore. If you’ve been struggling with the identity shift, with staying disciplined, or just feeling like your workouts don’t matter anymore—this one will hit home. Here’s what we covered: - Why motivation alone isn’t enough - What happens when the “athlete” identity starts to fade - How micro-rules can save your whole day - Why the best workouts don’t always feel good Watch the full video here: https://www.skool.com/formerathlete/classroom/d038a10c?md=8c4ddd6006a048989eaa65c4e6c21746 If this hits you where you are, drop a comment. Let me know how you’ve been staying consistent—or what’s been tripping you up lately.
📌 Thursday Update: No Q&A Call — Let’s Talk Discipline & Burnout Instead
Hey team — Quick heads up: I’m switching gears this week. Instead of our usual Thursday Q&A Zoom call, I’m dropping a new video that hits on something a lot of us are feeling but rarely talk about out loud… Discipline burnout. Not the kind that comes from being lazy or lacking structure—but the kind that creeps in after years of grinding. Years of forcing it. Years of showing up when it hurt, when it didn’t make sense, when nobody else believed in you but you still did it anyway. I had a great message from someone in this group who said it perfectly: “I clawed my way back to playing several times — shit is exhausting.” That hit. And I know she’s not alone. So this week’s video is all about: - Why the “discipline = freedom” mindset can backfire after sport - How to swap grit for systems so you're not relying on willpower 24/7 - Tactical ways to make training & nutrition easier, not softer - The shift from “earning it” to simply supporting yourself - What healthy discipline actually looks like now that you’re no longer chasing scholarships, trophies, or playing time 🎥 Watch the video here: https://www.skool.com/formerathlete/classroom/bd93d9fc?md=f143ca2c43ed45a2ad17cb364ea57dc1 I’ll be around in the comments all day Thursday—so if something in the video hits home, drop your thoughts, questions, or your own story below. Let’s have this conversation right here in the group. No pretending. No pushing through. Just real talk. – Adam

Quick Video on Protein Intake — Worth a Watch 🎥
Hey team — I had a little extra time this week, so I recorded a fun, no-frills public video on YouTube talking about something we all need to pay attention to: protein intake. This one covers: - Why most people (yes, even us former athletes) under-eat protein - How the food industry subtly nudges us toward low-protein, high-calorie meals - Why just tracking your protein—nothing else—can help you lean out and rebuild muscle - And how this all ties into the basics of Calories In vs. Calories Out (CICO) It’s simple, direct, and full of reminders that might help you reset or course-correct if your nutrition has been off lately. Let me know your thoughts in the comments—or if you want a follow-up video breaking this down in even more detail.

New Accountability Call Replay: “4 Behavior Hacks for Former Athletes”
I just wrapped up this week’s Accountability Call—and I think it’s one of the most practical ones we’ve done. If you’ve ever felt like it’s harder to stay consistent with training and nutrition now that college sports are behind you… this one’s for you. I cover four new topics that hit home for a lot of us: - Why motivation keeps letting you down - Simple routines you can build that almost run on autopilot - The “weekend rule” I follow to stay on track - A new lens for training—based on who we are now, not who we were Watch the Replay Here: https://www.skool.com/formerathlete/classroom/d038a10c?md=d3b36f14cede48869611a5eb5583da26 Drop your biggest takeaway in the comments. Let’s keep each other accountable.
