Through this workshop you will learn how to craft a (3–5 minute) short documentary film. Along the way, you’ll discover the art of storytelling and pick up the essentials of building a freelance career — all while making something meaningful and personal. The film will be about someone you love and who truly inspires you, and shot with the gear you already have.
After a great kick off meeting yesterday we start this week with the first action step

Don’t plan, don’t overthink. Grab your phone. In under 20 minutes, shoot a quick test:
- Pick one person you want to work with.
- Go to a location you’d love to film in.
- Snap a few photos or short clips — nothing fancy.
