๐Ÿง  Thoughtful Thursday: Keeping It Simple When Life Feels Heavy
This week tested me a bit.
With everything going on with my daughter, I found myself battling stress eating and honestly feeling in that โ€œwhateverโ€ mindset with tracking. Not because I donโ€™t careโ€ฆ but because mentally, I just felt overwhelmed.
I reached out to my coach and he gave me two options:
1๏ธโƒฃ Track everythingโ€”even if I stress eat
2๏ธโƒฃ Donโ€™t track, but fully commit to my approved meals and keep things simple
And it made me pause and realizeโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ‘‰ This journey isnโ€™t just about nutrition or tracking.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Itโ€™s about learning how to make better decisions when life isnโ€™t perfect
I chose to simplify instead of adding pressure.
Focusing on:
โœ”๏ธ Protein at each meal
โœ”๏ธ Meals I already know and trust
โœ”๏ธ Staying consistent with my routines
Not perfectโ€ฆ but intentional
