This is why we do hard things.
Not because every day feels good.
Not because weβre always motivated.
Not because our body is always fresh.
We do hard things because life will make us tired β and fitness teaches us how to keep showing up anyway.
Yesterday I took a full recovery day after hiking and Disneyland humbled me. Today I came back for strength, still tired but ready to do the work.
And I walked away with 2 new PRs:
Dumbbell Glute Bridge β max volume up
BB Romanian Deadlift β 135 lbs
The lesson: recovery matters, but so does returning to the work.
Thatβs where confidence is built.
Thatβs where discipline grows.
