I started with:
“Coach Darren answered my question on the LIVE Q&A and said I already have a head start going into the F45 6-week challenge with everything I’m already doing.”
Since it’s only 6 weeks, my goal isn’t to burn myself out—but to challenge myself and maximize fat loss while keeping muscle. His advice?
👉 Don’t overcomplicate it.
👉 Keep doing what I’m already doing.
👉 Add more steps.
Then came the 💣
Coach Darren also suggested cutting back on social meals to get better results.
So I told my partner:
“I’ll make ONE exception—the steakhouse in February for your birthday 🥩🎂. Other than that, I’m politely declining social eating until the challenge is done.”
He looked at me, paused… and said:
“That’s fine. I’m a little sad you won’t participate, BUT it also puts my butt in line to be successful since my social-eating buddy is going on another crazy challenge 😂.”
