For those of you who post content...
I have heard a lot about using instagram Trial Reels to test your video to see if it does well first before you post it to your main feed.
What I have found is that you want to post EVERY single video you make to your main feed. The more volume the better. Then take any video that does more views than your average and post it as a Trial Reel. For Danny's page for example, we do this for any video that did over 45,000 views. For some of you, this might mean any video that did 10,000 views. That's ok. You're just using your best performing videos.
What we found is that the Trial Reel (which is shown to only non-followers) now gains us a lot of followers because it's shared to a completely new audience and has already proven to do well.
This is a HACK to get new followers and recycle content that did well.
Notice the quick move in the beginning. It's quick, explosive, exciting and leaves viewers like WOW whats this move? then we cut to danny explaining the move in detail (this grows Danny's credibility as a trainer) and now we cut back to our guy Mac performing this move well. *IF YOU DON'T HAVE PLAYERS WHO CAN DO THIS WITH A GOOD ENOUGH HOOK* Demonstrate the move yourself as the trainer, with elite quickness and that would catch a viewers attention. thats the main goal... GREAT HOOK. then you can still use the explanation right after. We did that structure for this video for example. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYQgqq7EzOP/ since Danny's demo was better than any rep the player did. If you make content where you are just talking in front of the camera, you need better hooks too...
Here's some ideas to start the video with. (HIGH ENERGY IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- No one talks about this...
- You're not gonna like this but...
- Here's the truth about...
- This is why you are still..
- There's one thing about __ that changes everything
Hope this helps!
