@Daniel Cooper it’s going well been posting daily for the past 1-2 months or so. I may miss a day here or there but try my best to not have it happen in the same week or back to back days. My biggest change that I’ll make in the fall when I get more time to edit is changing up the type of content I post. I’ve been doing a good job posting and showing my work but I need more shareable content that will engage more non-followers and get them on my page.

@Daniel Cooper how do I schedule my call with you? I have a few things in mind that we can discuss
Player/Coach Relationships
How important do you guys actually value relationships with your players? What is your communication like before/after sessions? Do you have events where your players get a chance to know more about you and your personality outside of coaching? I think one thing that separates me from a lot of coaches in my area is my ability to connect to the kids and get the best out of them. The kids who are the most comfortable with me have grown the most in each session because they’re willing to be coached and go 100% every rep. What I’ve also noticed is a big shift in communication/leadership with these players as they won’t hesitate to assist another player when doing drills or playing SSGs. This makes my job 1000000% easier and improves the overall experience for all players. What are you guys doing to connect more to players? Any specific drills or activities you do to get kids to be comfortable enough to be themselves in each session and not afraid to fail? Let me know!!!

@Paul Wackerly Great stuff! Keep those relationships off the court coach, you’re changing lives!

@Blair Bass we on the same page!
Social Media Content
What platforms do you guys use the most to post content? As of right now I post everything on Instagram but feel like I should start branching out more now that I have content to post consistently. I know in this business views don’t equal clients but the more online traction the better. Which platforms have you guys had the most success in terms of views?

@Daniel Cooper do you post on FB separately or have your account attached through meta to post directly from IG? I have it connected so it posts straight from IG but I wasn’t sure if there was a difference.

Camp Academy Athletic Development Ideas / Themes
Hey everyone! My first camp in July was a success, and mostly in part due to 30-45min sessions I held in the morning teaching these young athletes various Athletic and Performance Development skills. Each day was a different theme: Building an Engine (cardio), Building Confidence, Leadership, Communication. My next camp is this coming Tuesday in August and I want to spice things up. What other major skills would you recommend I teach them at ages 11-13, that are applicable to Basketball & Life? All suggestions are welcomed! Cheers, Coach Sin Hardwood Hustlers Academy
