Videos I like versus videos I should make

I just realized that the videos I actually love are the ones that make me think — not the ones that hand out advice or step-by-steps. They shift how I see things, and the action comes later, if at all. But I’ve been feeling like I should make the kind of content I don’t even enjoy watching… just because that’s what’s supposed to “work.”

I just need to find a way to mix real depth with a format that helps people find it, and some way to make a hybrid of what keeps people interested, and what provides real depth on the subject.

I realize that I can’t confuse myself with the audience, but if I just make content that I would never want to watch i’ll burn out.
