Iâve always struggled with hitting publish. This time was no different. I recorded a video about the benefits of daydreamingâhow itâs actually good for your brain, especially for people like me who tend to drift off into their own world. For me, daydreaming has always been a way to cope when Iâm overwhelmed.
But the process wasnât smooth. Editing was a pain, and just as I started making progress, I got hit with the flu and was out for 10 days. By the time I recovered, I couldnât even remember where Iâd left off. Normally, I wouldâve scrapped the whole thing.
Instead, I decided to give it one last watch and upload it. To my surprise, it ended up being my most-viewed video in 24 hours. Sometimes, pushing through the resistance pays off.
