Hi all, I know this is super early to be asking this given I only posted my first video yesterday, but I did something today and I wanted to get some thoughts from those of you with more experience.
I'm doing the 30 day series, and one of them mentioned that the following 24 hours is another opportunity where YouTube will re-test your video. So I did an "experiment" (not sure if I can call it that with a single video 😬)
Anyway, I changed the thumbnail, title and description. That's it. As a part of the series, I learned a little more about how to think about my title/thumbnail, so I just figured I should make an adjustment.
Within an hour my CTR jumped up to 22% (was 2% yesterday and flat lined over night). I didn't get a ton of views in total and my avg watch time is only 1:55 on that video. I got bored watching it too 🤣
So what I'm wondering is how quickly can you interpret analytics like the CTR realistically? This is a terrible example I know, but it put the question in my mind, so I'm really just asking while I think about it (more for future me tbh).
Any insights appreciated 😬
