My YouTube Channel Launch Strategy - March 2025 ๐Ÿ‘€
Hey guys,
I'm very new to this forum, but just wanted to share my channel strategy for those who might find it helpful and also to be transparent.
Not gonna lie - I'm a bit nervous about sharing this journey publicly, but I figure being transparent might help keep me accountable and maybe some of you can pick up useful tips along the way.
Quick disclaimer: I won't be promoting my channel or selling anything here - this is purely about sharing the journey and learning together!
The Game Plan
I'm starting fresh with a new channel in early March, and here's what I'm planning to do (fingers crossed! ๐Ÿคž):
Main Content Strategy
I'm taking a different approach this time to my existing channel. Instead of rushing to put out daily content, I'm going to:
  • Record and produce 8 videos upfront
  • Release 2 videos per week
  • Focus on "how-to" content specifically about reaching monetisation (4K watch hours and 1K subs)
  • Share my personal experience since I recently did this with another channel
The cool thing about pre-recording is that I can really take my time with thumbnails and titles (we all know how crucial these are!). No more late-night panic editing sessions ๐Ÿ˜…
Keeping the Momentum Going
Even though main videos are coming out twice a week, I want to stay connected with viewers daily. So I'm preparing:
  • 30 YouTube Shorts (going out daily)
  • 30 Community Posts (also daily)
The shorts will be quick tips and motivation for fellow creators, nothing fancy but hopefully helpful! And the community posts will keep the conversation going between videos.
Why This Approach?
Look, I know this might seem either too planned out or not active enough (depending on who you ask!).
But here's my thinking:
  • Pre-recording gives me breathing room to make better content
  • Daily shorts and posts keep me visible without sacrificing quality
  • Having everything scheduled means I can focus on engagement and actually talking with my new subscribers
Being Real About It
I'm honestly nervous about doing this so publicly. What if it flops? What if the strategy needs a complete overhaul? But you know what? That's part of the journey, right ๐Ÿ˜‚? I figure:
  • If it works, awesome! You'll see exactly what worked
  • If something fails, hey, we all learn what not to do
  • And if I need to pivot, you'll see that process too
No Promotion, Just Learning
Just to be super clear - this isn't about promoting my channel or trying to sell anything. I won't be dropping links or asking for subs. This is purely about documenting the journey and hopefully helping others who might be in the same boat.
Want to Follow Along?
If you're interested, I'll keep updating this forum about what's working and what isn't. I'll share:
  • What's actually getting views
  • Which shorts are converting to main channel viewers
  • How the community posts are performing
  • Any major strategy changes and why
And please, if you've tried something similar or have suggestions, drop them in the comments! We're all learning here, and I'd love to hear your experiences.
The Timeline
Starting early March with:
  • 2 main videos per week
  • Daily shorts
  • Daily community posts
  • Regular updates here about what's working (and what isn't!)
Nervous but excited to share this journey with you all!
Anyone else planning something similar or want to share their experiences?
Would love to hear your thoughts! ๐ŸŽฅโœจ
