Monetized! Sort of.. Made my first $

Im not in the YPP (YouTube Partner Program) yet, but I was going to make a video about my way of doing keyword research and SEO with vidIQ, which requires a vidIQ subscription, so I thought it useful to first make a video explaining how to get vidIQ Boost for free (or nearly free) so people could try it without having to spend much up front.

I figured that would be a good opportunity to squeeze in a vidIQ affiliate link, and at the very least earn a few $$$ to pay for my own vidIQ subscription every month.

Well, after a few months the video is doing well and started getting a few conversions for the past couple months, but today is the first month that conversions surpassed the $10 minimum to trigger a payment from vidIQ!

AMA if you want. I am an OG google SEO circa 2010-2015, but SEO and affiliate marketing on YouTube is new to me so... Please be careful what you ask.. And take to heart..
