I Never Fit In
Did you know that the Lead-Mare stands alone, away from the herd.
That is because she is the wisest, the most aware of danger.
She knows when it's time to move and when it's time to rest.
She stands alone, because she needs solitude to focus, because lots of responsibility sits on her shoulders.
She stands alone:
Because she’s watching.
She’s sensing.
She’s holding awareness for the herd.
Now I know why I always stand alone and never fit in.
