Hi šŸ‘‹
I’m new here and new to YouTube (6weeks and 11 videos in), and I have a question.
Given I’m in a very specific niche (women in perimenopause), which limits my audience to a small window of women between 40-50 roughly, and then down to my actual audience, of those women who actually want to take action to take back control of their life from perimenopause symptoms… and it’s educational content… I strongly believe it will do well eventually, but I also believe that it will take longer than other niches that have a wider audience, say for instance like ā€˜how to grow on YouTube’ etc.
So at the moment, 11 videos in, I’m sitting around 5-211 views. How long can I expect it to take before your tube starts to notice me and the channel gains some traction? The general advice I’ve found is 3-6mths minimum, so would you assume for a small audience like mine, that I could expect that timeframe to be doubled? And perhaps see traction in 6-12mths? What’s realistic? I’m in this for the long game, I just want to set realistic expectations for myself and I don’t know enough about YouTube.
