Tried to use Freelancing platforms

Hello everyone,

i hope you are doing well. I am a software engineer and trying to become a freelancer. But the thing is, how can I get clients. I infact tried to get clients from freelancing platforms and eventually I got some, but most of times I don't get them. I am wondering how can i get more and more clients.
