🙁 People Won't Pay For Your Subscription... (pt1)
Lets say you are just starting out...
You don't have testimonials...
You don't have proof of concept...
You don't have more than a few clients...
And you don't have an audience or email list...
Who's going to pay you $10-$50/mo to join your Skool group?
Now for the creators or 'gurus' who have status or a following...
It's going to be easy...
Because there's already a few hundred people who want more access to them...
Like Sam for example...
He has a massive email list...
Tons of die hard fans and followers (lol me)...
And all it takes is a simple CTA and BOOM hundreds of people join...
But that may not be the case for you...
At least not yet...
And that's ok!
Because there's still a way to get subscribers to your membership.
And you don't you don't need status or a massive following.
You don't need a ton of subscribers on Youtube.
And you DON't need to slave away posting content (like I used to do lol)...
And the best part about this method is that you can run cold traffic to do it day one...
Even if you have ZERO testimonials.
How do I know?
Because I do it myself.
And for my clients.
Every single day.
And It's not just in the Biz Opp make money online space...
(Like a lot of gurus only have experience in)
This is working everywhere.
Want to know how it works?
It's simple.
The funnel looks like this.
1: Front End Offer = $5-$27 How To Course Or Book
2: Order Bump = $17-$22 Added Training Or Asset
3: Upsell = $97-$197 For Tools Templates To Speed Up The Outcome You Sold On The Front
And only sometimes do we sell the recurring in the front end funnel...
"But Josh where do people get sold on the subscription?"
"Why aren't you leading with that on the front end?"
"Why would someone pay you monthly after giving away a ton in the upsells?"
Here's why...
Getting someone to say 'YES' to a recurring offer cold is very hard...
That's why streaming companies and SaaS offer free trials...
Lol even Sam gave us a free trial...
But free trials don't work as well in education...
Think about it...
When you sign up for a free trial or payment plan...
You are immediately do the math on how many days you have until you cancel.
Do you really want students coming in with that mindset?
I didn't.
So instead...
I lead with cheap front end offer anyone can buy.
I add in upsells that are strategically built to attract backend buyers (not just more money)...
And then I sell the subscription as a tool to get the result they want faster with more support...
AKA more access to me or the coaches I work with...
When we do this we MAKE MONEY UPFRONT...
Instead of using a free group or free trial just to have people leave...
And we also PROFIT ON THE FRONT before people even see the recurring offer lol...
In Feb with an offer I ran I made 1.6x ROAS not including the $47/mo offer I sold...
And I had over 20 people enroll into the $47 offer from the 70 who bought the FE $27 course.
Not bad right?
But let me be clear.
You can do this too.
Im not a media buyer lol
Im not a guru with a huge following.
I didn't have a list.
But I do now because of the ads I ran to get that 1.6 ROAS.
AND I also have tons of raving fans that are wowed from the value I gave out for $27...
Which means I started out with all the reasons why you'd think I wouldn't win...
And ended with everything guru's promise without having to do more than one thing...
Which was use ONE funnel with a couple upsells and recurring offer on the backend.
BOOM.
Thats all.
Now there's way more that goes into this especially if you've never created an upsell path.
But because I love everyone here and don't sell a product teaching it.
Im just going to share it all here for free over the next 30 days.
Hope you enjoy and feel free to give this a like if there was any value.
