Skool Feedback
Hello fellow Skoollers,
Below is my first as calls it 'Founder Insight' post for my Remote Contractor Community Skool. So far, I am super impressed by this platform, I also feel super confident going into the coaching space for contractors building it by using this system "Skool" that has created. Thank you, would love feedback if you find value with the post below or if you simply want to connect πŸ’ͺ🏽

The remote contractor method was created to make more by doing less. From the moment you receive a lead, via online, in-person or word of mouth the goal is to give them the solution they came searching for through a well oiled money making machine.
When I became a contractor, one of the things I noticed was the bad reputation that ALL CONTRACTORS tend to be labeled with. As I continued to build my gutter business, I began to refine more the reasons why we are given a bad rep, just like how car salesman have a bad rep.
One of the main reasons is because we all have different values we base our trade or craftsmanship with. I can only speak from the niche I'm currently in "The Gutter Business". One example was from a customer that wanted new gutters, I priced fairly at $3600 and my competitor price at $1600.
Now I am sure the job could get done at $1600.00 and it probably did, however it's that GAP that creates the uncertainty in the market place. Nevertheless, you must know your worth and from my experience because I have created systems in my business I could afford not closing this customer.
My mentor once said this, which was a game changer "You don't get to the goals that you set, you get to the lowest levels of systems that you have"
Systems work whether you are there or not. They serve as a process that you can follow, so that you don't have to think so much. Before implementing systems I used to get mental blocks because I was thinking of what I had to do in a given day, which resulted in wasting time and energy. However, if you have systems in place, the system tells you what you are going to do instead.
Ask yourself, what can help Save You Stress, Time, Energy & Money today? Answer S.Y.S.T.E.M's!
So why was I able to afford not closing that particular customer? I have created a system that allows me to measure gutters remotely, which saves me time, energy and money.
Because of the system of measuring and estimating is so efficient and fast, customers love that they receive professional estimates with no delay same day.
What I've noticed in my niche is that most contractors race to the bottom when it comes to prices, because they lack the proper systems of marketing, customer acquisition and conversion. Government contracts also work the same, the bid is given to the lowest price to get the job done. The race to the bottom is because the lead funnel is not full, which is another system in the business.
It is November 6th, 23:51pm in Switzerland, and the business has minimum 2 jobs a day booked on the east coast of the states and I firmly believe it's because of the systems in place.
Most people who hire contractors, hire based on first impression (unless they are price sensitive customers like this customer was or if you are the government lol). When they call for the service or request a quote online, it means the IRON IS HOT, the best time to Strike is when the IRON IS HOT. If you lack the systems, your strike might not be the best strike!
