Wonder What It's Like to Become a VIP Member of the CLASSIFIEDS?
If you saw the WATER COOLER drop in schedule last week and you were wondering how you too could become a VIP member and host your own hour, wait no longer - application are opening soon for our next VIP cohort. There are several benefits of being a VIP member, but the most sought after is the ability to participate in the VIP Collab Action Group. Want to learn more about all the benefits? Attend the information session on May 12 (exact time on your calendar). Can't attend live? No worries. It will be recorded. And what's even better, is that this time around applications will be collected in different categories, so if you serve parents, or women over 40, or animal lovers, or if you are in a health and wellness niche, or a hobby niche, or a business niche, you will be able to apply to collaborate with others who will compliment you instead of compete with you. I can't wait to see your application. Keep your 👀 open for application dates, and mark your calendar for the info session on May 12!

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

8 cues. One date. Most people miss every single one. The image on the left? Engaged. Open. Connected. The image on the right? Same couple. Same table. Same drinks. Eight subtle behavioural shifts later — and the date is already over. He just doesn't know it yet. Here's what changed: ① Eye contact broke. From sustained and engaged → gaze aversion. ② Lips went from a relaxed smile → pressed and tense. ③ Posture shifted from leaning in → arms crossed, leaning back. ④ Gaze turned from him → away from him entirely. ⑤ The wine glass went from resting on the table → raised as a chest barrier. ⑥ Shoulders rose and closed. ⑦ A phone appeared between them on the table. ⑧ Her hand tightened around the stem of her glass. One of these on its own? Means nothing. Could be the room temperature. Could be a bad day. But all eight together? That's a cluster. And a cluster tells the truth. This is the difference between leaving a date thinking "I'm not sure how that went" and leaving knowing exactly what just happened, while there's still time to do something about it. It's also the difference between matching with someone, exchanging texts for two weeks, and getting ghosted with no idea why… and reading the shift in their messages on day three, before you've invested anything more. Learn this and you'll never sit at the wrong end of a date wondering what just happened. https://www.skool.com/datedecoder/about

🎸 Want to play your FIRST riff on guitar within 7 days?
Not “someday”… not “when I get better”… I mean something real you can actually play this week. If you’ve ever: 👉 picked up a guitar and felt lost 👉 tried YouTube lessons and got overwhelmed 👉 or quit because it all felt too complicated This is exactly why this free beginner guitar community exists. No confusing theory dumps. Just small steps that build into real playing. You’ll also be surrounded by other beginners doing the same thing sharing progress, asking questions, and improving together. Why I made my Skool community free (and 15 people joined in the first few days)
I ran the Skool Monetisation Lab as a paid community. I tried pricing angles, offer rewrites, better onboarding, different CTAs. Nothing moved the needle in any meaningful way. The embarrassing part is that I already knew the answer. The Content Revenue Lab is free. It just hit 860 members. I built that by removing the barrier before trust exists and letting the community do the conversion work. I did the opposite with the Skool Monetisation Lab. I put a paywall in front of people who had not spent a minute inside the community. No track record with them. No reason yet to hand over money. Just a door with a price on it. Here's the simplest way I know to explain why that does not work for me. Imagine two coffee shops. One charges you to look at the menu. The other lets you walk in, sit down, and decide for yourself. Most people walk into the second one. That's not about giving things away. That is what happens when you ask for payment before trust exists. Paid communities absolutely can work. If you're already sitting on a large, warm audience who knows you, follows you, and trusts you, charging at the door makes complete sense. The trust is already there. You're just converting it. But if you are building that trust from scratch, a paywall stops the process before it starts. That was my situation. So I made the Skool Monetisation Lab free. Same formula as the Content Revenue Lab. Fifteen new members in the first few days, no launch, no push. I had the blueprint the whole time. I just didn't use it. If you are running a Skool community and trying to work out how to turn it into consistent monthly revenue without the hustle, this is what we focus on inside the Skool Monetisation Lab. https://www.skool.com/skool-growth-lab-2540/about Des Dreckett - Skool Monetisation Lab
