HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. #TIPTUESDAY: For parents of struggling or dyslexic readers (who also run Skool groups)
Many of us here are wearing two hats: business owner AND parent. So if you’re raising a struggling or dyslexic reader… this is for you. A lot of parents think, “ I’m not a reading specialist, so what do I even do?” 👉You start where you are, with what you have, and you get a little guidance for the next step. Here’s a simple “start small” tip (whether your child is behind or you’re trying to help them get ahead): The 15-minute Clue Hunt Read with your child for 15 minutes and just notice where they get stuck. Often, kids get hung up in one of these spots: 1. Blending (they can say sounds, but struggle to pull them together) 2. Vowels (a/e/i/o/u get mixed up) 3. Guessing (they get the first sound… then guess the rest) ✨ You’re not diagnosing. You’re just gathering clues. Comment 1, 2, or 3 — which one is your child right now? If you want, reply with a word they consistently get stuck on (like “was,” “they,” “went”), and I’ll tell you what that might point to. Make Your About page Work Harder For You!
I came into Faith's workshop excited for feedback on my About page, I just made so changes and was ready to go LIVE! The group did NOT disappoint. They ripped it to shreds in the most loving way possible. And it was wonderful. Why? Because the majority of the group was my ICA. I learned something very valuable. When you see your community through your client's eyes, not what you assume they see, it changes your entire perspective. It can be an entire paradigm shift! After 90 minutes, I walked away with tweaks that made my page tighter, clearer, and more magnetic. Taking my About page copy right up to 1000 characters! My biggest takeaway, stay true to who you are. Faith mentioned that she had seen my page prior to the change, and it was missing something huge! 1 simple line that spoke volumes about who I am. I had removed it to be more marketable and that was a mistake. My faith, My calling. The reason why I am doing this community in the first place. That stays. That's the calling, not the marketing strategy. Faith has a gift for creating a space where you get honest feedback that actually sharpens you without losing who you are.
