#MetricsMonday
Welcome to Metrics Monday, that time in the week where we (upon request of the members) pull back the curtains and show you behind the scenes of the Classifieds. Number of Members: 803 (+45) Number of Premium Members: 166 (+9) Percentage of members who are Premium : 20.7% no change About Page Conversion: 28.1 (-1.3%) Churn = 9 in December Discovery Ranking in Money: #31 (-1) Discovery Ranking Overall: #101 (-5) Highest Activity Day: 1264 on Tuesday Lowest Activity Day: 533 on Sunday What it all means: So, most of you know that we rose 16 places in the money category in a matter of about 48 hours due to our Black Friday Free For All. I was expecting a bit of a correction, but what surprised me the most was how long it took for that correction to occur. We were vacillating between #27 and #28 for most of the week, but then a dip in activity made the star flicker last night and then go off this morning when we settled into 31st place. Our activity has always been the lowest on the weekend, which makes sense as many of us choose to prioritize our families at that time. Another interesting number is the percentage of members who are premium, which has remained unchanged. I'm very happy with almost 21% of the members choosing to be premium, so this is a great number. You'll notice a new metric I'm tracking, which is churn. It's only reported for the month, so it's a bit of a weird one to track, but people have been interested in it. I'm not sure how long I will continue to report on it because, personally, I don't look at it. I think it's a normal part of running a community, especially one like this - sometime members leave because they are no longer Skool group owners... Anyway, in the future I'll make more of an effort to put prompts for posts in the community as it seems like this really inspires people to post and encourages great interactions, engagement, and sign ups in your communities. This past week has been a bit of a doozy for me with pink eye (thanks daycare!), laryngitis, and a chest cold/cough - and family visiting!!!

#MondayMythBuster
Create a brand new post outlining a myth that people have about your area of expertise or the topic of your group. Use a compelling hook in your title, describe the myth, and then explain why it's a myth. Finish off the post by inviting people to check out your group to learn more. Then, find two other posts to be enlightened by and leave a comment. Don't get too wordy. There's a fine line between too much info and not enough info. Trust me. I go over the line all the time! 😂 TIP: Hashtag prompts are bonus prompts, so if you do this post, you still get your promo post of the day. 😉 I can't wait to see what myths you bust!

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

#MythbusterMonday: "You should focus on just one platform"
Having your online presence in different places takes a lot of work. And a lot of people, specially here on Skool will advize you against it, as it may take your focus out of optizing the Skool experience for your members. But a lot of times it's worth it, as you need to go where your audience/ potential clients are. And the more lead magnets you have, the faster you will grow. And that is specially true if you find a format that can be crossposted across several platforms. This wednesday, 3 PM UTC (https://time.is/UTC), I'll be live in Nick's Community to talk about different strategies on how to make yourself present online and how to crosspost across different places. Please, join his community in order to watch this event. In this event, I'll share my experience as a Community Manager that worked in different platforms for online business owners. I'll go through the differences in platforms like Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and others. I'll talk about the strategies and best uses for each of them. So tell me, where is your business present? - Community Platforms: Skool is the platform of choice for everyone here, and it is usually the place where all of the magic happens. The tip of the funnel. But there are other options besides Skool. In my community you can see comparissons between Skools and it's competitors. - Website: Having your own website and using SEO strategies to appear on google searches is also great. Having your home page as your landing page and making posts is also great for content marketing. Landing page + Google Ads is a great way for people to find you. I can help you develop a complete Wordpress website/landing page. - Google Maps: Having a physical adress for your business gives you discoverability on search engines and also credibility for people who find you. - YouTube: YouTube is quickly becoming the largest search engine, sometimes competing with google. Having your presence in video form is also almost mandatory to succeed online as people will hire you if they trust you, and they will trust you if they can see you. So creating your presence on YouTube is a must. - Facebook Page: Great for paid traffic. You can set it up very easily and have a great portifolio for your business. - Instagram: Have great sinergy with Facebook, and allows for very easy automatic crossposting. So if you have one, there is no reason to not have the other. - TikTok: If your focus is on viral content, this is a great place. You can get decent traction even by having very little subscribers. It seems like tiktok doesn't punish you for having little people following you, so It's a great place for new joiners. I had a dark TikTok channel where I put low effort career guidance tips. One of my posts there still gets likes and views to this day, 2 years after I abandoned the account. - Reddit: having a presence on reddit is a great way to make connections and capture clients. Reddit is still the largest commmunity platform in the world. It's a SEO goldmine. I got my high ticket client from there. - Freelance profiles: Upwork and Fiverr are a good alternative to get jobs and get clients. But you need to count partially on luck as those are very disputed. But depending on your niche, it's a good idea.

#MythbusterMonday: "You should focus on just one platform"
Myth: If your course is packed with content, it’s automatically “high-value.”
MYTH: More content = more value. REALITY: More content often creates more confusion. I see course creators panic and respond the same way: They add another module, another bonus, another “just in case” lesson. It feels generous, but it also quietly breaks the learning experience. Here’s what actually happens when you overload a course: - Students can’t tell what matters most, so they do nothing first. - The “path” disappears, and the course becomes a content library. - Momentum drops because progress stops feeling measurable. - You get lower completion, fewer wins, and softer testimonials. Value isn’t measured in minutes of video.Value is measured in capability: what your student can confidently do after. If you want your course to feel premium and produce results, design for: - a clear sequence (this → then this → then this) - practice opportunities (not just explanations) - application (so students can make decisions without you) - tight scope (so “finished” is achievable) A high-quality course doesn’t say, “Here’s everything I know.”It says, “Here’s what you need to master, on purpose.” If you’re building (or rebuilding) a course right now, check out Your Best Course Experience inside of the Build Lab, it walks you through the exact process and frameworks you need to build with clarity, intention, and implementation so that you can stand out in your niche and scale exponentially.
