When the Weight Is Doing the Work
This week, I spent some time inside my community, Digital Bloom, doing a few one-on-one coaching calls.
One of those conversations stayed with me.
We were talking about hard seasons — financial pressure, business uncertainty, that feeling of carrying a lot and just wanting to get to the other side already. And it reminded me of something our pastor shared recently: weight is where strength is built.
Just like the gym — the growth doesn’t come from dropping the weight as fast as possible. It comes from staying under it long enough for something to change.
It hit me how many people are in that place right now. Working. Showing up. Carrying more than they let on. Trying not to quit while quietly wondering if they’re doing something wrong.
So I wanted to share this here:
If you’re in a heavy season, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It doesn’t mean you’re behind. And it doesn’t mean this season is wasted.
Sometimes the struggle is the training.
Inside Digital Bloom, I get the chance to coach and encourage people through seasons like this every day — and honestly, those moments are as meaningful for me as they are for them.
If this resonates, you’re not alone. And if you’re looking for a space where growth, faith, and business can exist together without pressure or hype, that’s what I’m building.
Either way — I hope this encouraged someone who needed it today. 💛
