“I tried Reiki once and didn’t feel anything. Does that mean it doesn’t work for me?”
Nope. About 30% of people don’t feel much their first few tries. That doesn’t mean nothing’s happening.
Some people feel warmth, tingling, or emotional releases. Others just notice they slept better that night or felt calmer the next day. And some need a few sessions before their nervous system learns to recognize the shift.
The mistake most beginners make: expecting fireworks. Reiki isn’t about dramatic experiences. It’s about giving your body permission to release stuck energy. Sometimes that’s subtle.
Here’s what I tell skeptics: Try it 3 times before you decide. If you still don’t notice anything, at least you gave it a real shot.
